Our company and our reach has been growing fast and we’re looking for an exceptional Junior Graphic and Web Designer to join us.
Work with Head of Design & Creative Director to translate project briefs into stand-out works of design
Design digital and print assets -- including, but not limited to: slides, Keynote presentations, graphics for video & social platforms, website mock-ups, ebooks, etc. -- for live events, courses, online challenges and/or any other design collateral needed to support LYM marketing and programs
Create web page wireframes and design elements for LYM.com, landing pages & opt-in/sales funnels
Contribute to collaborative brainstorms and creative meetings regarding brand identity and design concepts
Create visual brand style guides in collaboration with Head of Design and Creative Director
Personal project management -- ensure projects are delivered on time and error free
Keep design files organized, following internal processes and naming conventions
3+ years of hands-on graphic and web design experience (Identity design experience is a plus)
Experienced in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Keynote and Canva
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Have a fast computer and strong graphics card to handle multiple large design files
Strong eye for typography and layout that engages users to take action
Passionate (even obsessive) for design and creative processes
Demonstrate an efficient personal workflow -- from concept, to design to deliverable
Adept at integrating direct response marketing best practices into your designs
Take pride in your work, have the ability to follow directions and welcome honest feedback
Take initiative in resolving challenges and proactively come up with solutions
Are as comfortable working independently as you are working on a team & sharing ideas, support and resources
Are organized and meticulous
Are humble, knowing there is always the opportunity to learn new techniques and design strategies
Have a “can-do!” attitude and a constant hunger to grow
What else you’ll take part in during your typical work week:
Daily morning stand-ups with the Agency/Marketing team & team collaboration
Meetings with the Head of Design & Creative Director to review assignments and project statuses
Weekly company-wide team trainings
This is a full-time position with benefits. We’re looking for someone who’s interested in sticking around to grow with us, not just someone looking for a “side gig” to keep them afloat as they pursue their real passion. There will be plenty of opportunities for advancement here!
The role is also 100% virtual, but you need to be available to work during “normal business hours” (approximately 9am to 6pm Pacific time, give or take one-two hours) regardless of the time zone you live in. Some weekend and night work will be required as we ramp up to events and program launches. And having a reliable up-to-date computer is a must!
